Not many clients request an 11-foot long island. But this homeowner in Dunstable, MA was looking to create an elegant kitchen that was conducive to entertaining.
Through kitchen design firm David R. Crupi, LLC, Ripano embarked on this ambitious countertop project. The focal point of the kitchen is of course, the seamless granite island. In fact, it took 8 people to install the Blue Pearl granite island. In addition to the generous food prep area and sink, the island seats four adults comfortably. The crowning touch is the Ogee edge detail. The counters were also a blue peal granite with 3/8" pencil edge detail.
An added feature in this kitchen that is becoming more and more popular is the drop-down baking center. The baking center countertops are Bianco Carrara Marble quarried in Italy.
It's no wonder this kitchen is "the favorite room in the house".

21st Century Customer Service - YouTube Launched
The granite countertop process -- from initial design to installation -- can be daunting. At Ripano, we don't want our customers worrying more about the details than they are about selecting the right stone.
We take extra time with each customer, whether they've walked into our showroom on their own or they've been sent to us by a kitchen design partner, to make sure they understand all of the details. But sometimes, questions come up and they need answers right away. Calling us is what people would like to do, but at 10:30 at night, its probably not the most practical solution.
So we've created a home for all types of instructional videos about Ripano and countertops - and its home is YouTube!

Employee Feature:
Fernando Santos
There's not much at Ripano that Fernando hasn't done. He was the first employee of the company 21 years ago. He's had extensive experience in the fabrication shop. He's our lead installer and consistently wins high praise from satisfied customers because of his strong commitment to quality. He is absolutely a perfectionist and our customers love him for it and so does our team. Since Fernando started with us, he has recruited four of his brothers to join the company and now his son works for us too.
