Fabrication Process

At Ripano Stoneworks, we're continually investing in new technologies and processes to improve the quality and time of our fabrication process because we know that producing the highest quality product and an affordable price is what sets us apart from the rest of the pack.

This year, we've installed the Slabsmith software system in conjunction with a new water-jet saw. What does that mean to our customers? We've significantly reduced our production time and virtually eliminated on site adjustments because we are able to measure and cut your stone precisely to the unique contours of your kitchen. In fact, we're the only dealer in the region fabricating countertops with this system.

The Slabsmith System

The fabrication process starts when we return from making a template of your kitchen.

The data is loaded from the laser templater into our layout system. As you can see in the manufacturer's video below, we're able to lay your countertop out on the slab you selected directly on our computer system. After the rough layout is completed, we zoom in to complete the final adjustments and matching on your seams.

The days of creating hard copy templates and physically laying them out on the slab are over… which saves us time and our clients money.

With the layout done, it's just a quick click and the template is sent directly to the saw to cut the countertop, precisely to the measurements taken at the homeowner's kitchen.
